Braised Short Ribs (Instant Pot)

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds beef short ribs
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • 1 onion diced
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ cup red wine
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbs soy sauce
  • 1 Tbs worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbs brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Thyme
Driections
  1. Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper and cut into 3-4 inch segments. Place in Instant Pot.
  2. Add onions and garlic on top.
  3. In a bowl, whisk wine, ketchup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Pour over ribs.
  4. Sprinkle Thyme over ribs.
  5. Lock cover into place and seal steam nozzle.
  6. Pressure cook for 60 minutes.
  7. Naturally release pressure for 10 minutes then quick release remaining pressure.
